A bit about Mr. Hill:
I love teaching and I absolutely appreciate working with students and parents.
This is my eleventh year teaching!
I realize that life is not exactly simple and easy at all times, while I also realize that gratitude is a cure for many ills! (problems)
Class expectations:
Arrive on time with a pencil and paper for note-taking, and a great attitude toward learning, peers, and staff.
Please keep your hands to yourself, do NOT talk while Mr. Hill is talking, raise your hand to ask a question, then wait until I call on you. ALWAYS be responsible, respectful and resilient.
Submit assignments on time, doing your best at all times.
What's happening here?
Seventh grade social studies focuses on world history, with an emphasis on geography. Students will gain knowledge of key historical people and events, as well as vocabulary and study of primary and secondary source documents. Further, I focus on teaching students to think critically and independently, and have high personal standards of achievement forming a strong, expandable base for becoming "life ready."
