Why do we get stressed?
How does it affect our mind and bodies?
Mindfulness can help manage stress.
Stress is a part of life.
There are things we can do alleviate stress!
Make a list of the things that are on your mind. Keep track of the things you are in control of and the things that are out of your control. Decide to practice not worrying about the things you have no control over (this takes practice). Try to accomplish tasks to change the things within your control. For example, if you have been arguing with a family member often, make a list of the ways you can help stop the arguing from happening. So often we contribute to our stress, by being unwilling to self-reflect and change the way we approach life.
When you are feeling stressed, but you can't figure out why, mindfulness can help relieve many symptoms associated with stress. Take a look at the video above for more information on how to practice mindfulness. So often, stress comes from allowing our minds to overthink things. We take a bunch of little things and pile them on our mind into a big tangled mess. Practicing mindfulness can help untangle the pile.
