2025-2026 TCPG Board and Committee Leaders
Chair (Officer) – Kelsey Johnson
Kelsey is the parent of three kids, a daughter who recently graduated from TC and twin boys in 4th grade. She has loved working with TC families to organize and support school events. After serving as Volunteer Chair since 2022, she is stepping into her new role as TCPG Chair, and is excited to build connections, support school traditions, and create ways for families to get involved.
Professionally, Kelsey co-owns Fairhaven Project Services, specializing in permit coordination and project management. Outside of work, she can be found chauffeuring her kids to activities, enjoying time with family and friends, reading, and playing golf.
Vice Chair (Officer) – Erin MacDougall
Erin has a 5th grader and kindergartener at TC, and a 7th grader at Hazel Wolf K-8. She served as Chair of TCPG 2022-25. She hugely values serving the TC community and sees our school as a place where all children can thrive. She loves to garden, read, spend time in nature, poetry, and find joyful moments.
Treasurer (Officer) – Ann Hove Paisner
Ann is the parent of a 2nd grader at Thornton Creek and a 4 year old future Thornton Creek student. She served on the finance committee in the spring of 2024, and has assisted with various volunteer tasks at TC. She has a background working for federal, state, and local government regulators and enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, running, and biking.
Secretary (Officer) – Jessica Knaster Wasse
Jessica is a parent of a 3rd grader and a 7th grader who is a TC graduate. She is excited to continue in the role of Secretary for TCPG. She served previously as TCPG Vice Chair since 2022. In addition to that she has also been both a room parent and the lead room parent and on the Health and Safety committee. Jessica has honed her community leadership skills during her career in homeless health care at Public Health. – Seattle & King County. Weekends you will find her baking, attempting to stand up paddle board, taking long walks on the Burke with her adorable dog, or bribing her children to hike.
Volunteer Chair (Board Member) – Sterling Maximo
Sterling is very excited to rejoin the TCPG Board to continue serving the TC community this upcoming year! With a 5th grader, 3rd grader, a kindergartener and a preschooler who will one day walk the halls at TC, she's very invested in the long-term success of the school. Her goal is to do everything she can to support a truly exceptional learning environment for every student that is sustainable year after year. She loves to play outside in the garden, build things and goof around with her kids and chickens.
Hospitality Chair (Board Member) – Corissa Allyn
Corissa is the parent of a fourth grader and a kindergartener. She has been involved with the Phinney Ridge Preschool Co-op for seven years, serving on the board as both all-school secretary and all-school fundraiser. Corissa enjoys organizing community events and helped launch the inaugural Thornton Creek Dragonfly Cup chess tournament this year. In her free time, she likes playing softball, gardening, camping with her family, and tending to her small flock of backyard chickens.
Fundraising Chair (Board Member) – Amber Benson
Amber has a son in 4th grade at Thornton Creek and a 4-year-old future Dragonfly. She served as a co-chair of the fundraising committee in 2024 and has helped with other TC events through the years. Amber's background in producing video and other media content has allowed her to exercise her skills in event planning and organizing. In her downtime, Amber enjoys watching her son play hockey, playing dress up with her daughter, traveling with her family and cooking.

Facilities Co-Chair – Jana Dilley
Jana is the mom of a Thornton Creek 5th grader and a TC graduate now in middle school. She is a certified arborist and professional urban forester who believes deeply in the power of urban nature as a positive force for childhood development. As Facilities co-chair since the fall of 2019, she has been working with parent volunteers and the District to care for the Thornton Creek landscape. She feels super lucky to have Sarah as a partner in landscape work and welcomes anyone who wants to join them on any level.
Facilities Co-Chair – Sarah Stempski
This will be my third year as facilities co-chair. I have been so fortunate to learn and work with Jana Dilley in this facilities role! I have a 3rd grader at Thornton Creek. I appreciate having such amazing green space at school, and love how this work brings parents and families together to make connections and take acre of our beautiful school!
