Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to the parents and carers who were able to attend the reading café with their child last week. There was a real buzz in the school. Developing a love for reading only comes when schools and parents work in partnership together.
The next PTA meeting is on Monday 16th March at 8pm. Please come along to find out about upcoming events and how you can get involved. The PTA are a small but very friendly group who are looking for new people to support the events they put on for the children in the school. If you are able to help out for an hour at an event whether that be helping to set up, selling teas and coffees or helping to pack away then you will make a difference and ensure that events can continue to be run.

The PTA are excited to launch our Coin Wars fundraising competition, running from 2nd March – 20th March!
Each class will have its own collection pot, and children are invited to bring in loose change to help their class raise as much money as possible for our school.
How does it work?
- Every classroom has a collection pot.
- Children can add any British coins (1p–£2).
- Every contribution counts — big or small!
- All money raised will go towards PTA projects that benefit the whole school.
⭐️ How is the winning class chosen?
The winning class will be the one that collects the highest total value of money by the end of the competition (not the number of coins).
🏆 Prize: The winning class will enjoy a special Break the Rules Day!
A few reminders:
- British currency only please (no foreign coins).
- Coins can be brought in throughout the competition dates.
- Participation is completely optional — all donations are appreciated.
Let the friendly competition begin, and thank you as always for supporting the PTA and helping us create exciting opportunities for the children!
