Dear Parents and Carers,
This summer will bring a few staffing changes as we have some members of our support staff retiring. At the end of term we will say goodbye to Mrs Cannon, Mrs Cleaver,
Mrs Raphy and Mrs Richey. We will miss all of them and the contributions that they have made over the last decade and more have had a significant impact on the learning experiences of so many children. In addition, Miss Berridge will also be going on maternity leave at the end of this week. We wish her good luck and we look forward to sharing news of the new addition over the coming weeks. We have been busy recruiting and we will share further information about new staff when we share staffing arrangement for the next academic year in the coming weeks.
Did you know? All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Free School Meals and there is no cost for school dinners. Once a child is in Year 3 then parents have to pay if their child wants a school dinner. If your family are in receipt of Universal Credits your child can continue to have free school meals. This is for any family so please speak to the office to find our more.

To allow more families to take part, Heritage Week will now take place from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th June.
Our school community includes connections to North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Heritage Week is a great opportunity for children to share, learn about, and celebrate their heritage. Parents will also have opportunities to come into school during the week.
Heritage Week will end with a food celebration in the school hall on Friday afternoon. If you would like to take part by providing a dish, please let me know. If you are unable to attend, your child can still bring and share the dish. Thank you to those families who have already confirmed their involvement.
Heritage Week will begin and end with non-uniform days. Children are invited to wear traditional dress that represents their culture, or a t-shirt in the colours of a flag, or a t-shirt with a homemade flag attached.
