Green/Pankhust: Etna Tomasdottir
Blue/Fleming: Callum Knight
Purple/Asher-Smith: Finn Clark
Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising the Disco on Friday last week. It was a great event and everyone looked like they had lots of fun. It would be great if we had some more parent helpers. Please look out for messages about how you can get involved before the next event.
The PTA is a registered charity and can take advantage of the 'company matched giving scheme'. This scheme allows companies to donate to a charity an amount of money relating to the amount that an employee(s) donates or fundraises. Some companies will pledge time and resources instead of money, enabling their employees to support a cause during their working week. Alternatively, a tangible service may be offered, such as the opportunity to print posters, programmes, and newsletters. If you think your employer has a matched giving scheme or other service and you would like more information please speak to the school office.
Herts for Learning has released their latest Online newsletter
DSPL3 (Delivering Special Provision Locally) are worth reaching out to if you have unanswered questions about your child's SEND needs. Their aim is to provide you with information on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities for education settings and families within the DSPL3 area (which includes Bishops Stortford). Please check their website or Facebook page for updated information and events.
Next week we will be collecting for the Bishops Stortford Food Bank Harvest Appeal. Children should take any donations to the vestibule between 7th - 11th October.
We believe that all parents, carers and trusted adults should be empowered with the information needed to have informed and age-appropriate conversations about online safety with children. For this reason, we take part in National Online Safety’s ‘Wake Up Wednesday’ campaign. Each Wednesday, National Online Safety produce practical, easy-to-follow guides focusing on specific risks that adults should be aware of. These can be found at x.com/wake_up_weds and https://empli.fi/nationalonlinesafety/
