I am a writer and editor, dedicated to clear and accurate storytelling. Through my writing and research, I consider questions of audience and reception, putting art, literature, performance, and protest into context.
My work as an arts journalist, critic, and editor has appeared in Slate, American Theatre Magazine, Texas Monthly, Texas Highways, Glasstire, Southwest Contemporary Magazine, Sightlines, The Second Stylus, The First Line, The Texas Orator, and other publications.
My professional work includes marketing, editing, publishing, stage management, and administration roles. I have experience working in museums and academic institutions.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Stage Management and a B.A in Humanities Honors (Liberal Arts), certificates in Museum Studies and Core Texts & Ideas, and minors in English and Art History.
I earned a Master's in Information and Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill.
I am an experienced Stage Manager for festivals, theatre, dance, and new work. In recent roles, I have programmed, scheduled, and facilitated concerts and live performances in museum spaces.
