The workshop"The Social Mediaholics" is a workshop that will talk about the pros and cons of social media users and how it affects our world. It. will also include how people use editing, photoshopping and enhancement software to make them look good which leads to making other people feel bad etc... It will also talk about how influencers set trends in the world and advertise products for their followers and how some people's job is posting on social media and how money is made on there.
Abdullah Al-Jasar is a 14-year-old student attending Qatar International School. Abdullah grew up interested in a lot of different subjects especially geography, science and design and technology. He has an interest in the medical and architecture fields. He has hopes that he will work in those fields in the future. Added to that, he has volunteered in hospitals and attended MUN clubs and conferences and enjoys debating on non-political related topics especially conspiracy theories. Growing up Abdullah was a shy person and didn't like being known and wasn't confident when sharing his opinions but that has changed through the past couple of years. Abdullah also attended WSC and was qualified for the Global round. He enjoys travelling and exploring the world, trying new things especially food and playing tennis and cycling with his friends and sister. He is always curious about how things work and how they are made.
