The Workshop - How Architecture Controls You - focuses on the positive and negative psychological effects of architecture, and how the buildings we see around us may influence us subconsciously. Daily we are exposed to different buildings however, Architectural Psychology is rarely spoken about and the way we are impacted by buildings remains unknown by most. The workshop further elaborates on pattern matching, how we respond to different buildings, and how we can identify which urban setting our impacting us both positively and negatively.
Elena Stafrace is a 16 year old student, currently studying in Qatar. Having moved to Doha from the Uk at age 10, Elena was fascinated with the architectural projects she saw around her - stimulating her love for architecture and design. In the future, she hopes to study a course around this topic at university, and pursue her dreams of becoming an architect and designing buildings with a firm.
