For the second time, Best Delegate is running a level 3 course on How to Run an MUN conference. The launch of this unique opportunity to develop your school’s MUN is a very special time in THIMUN Qatar’s history, and if well received, we hope to continue this on an annual basis at the QLC. This course aims to teach the most efficient ways to structure your executive team, plan your conference timeline, and ensure that your conference theme is fully developed. This training is open to Directors and the Students on your school’s MUN executive team, working together to solidify the skills needed to plan an awesome MUN conference. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of this wonderful one day course! This course is open to all who are interested in running an MUN conference, and is not predicated on graduating Level I or II of DTI.
This course will not be repeated at THIMUN 2021.

Ryan Villanueva
Ryan Villanueva is the Co-Founder and Chief Education Officer of Best Delegate, the leading K-12 company for Model United Nations and global citizenship education in the USA. He has shaped Best Delegate’s strategic reorientation during the covid pandemic, launching new, interactive virtual Model United Nations programs. Regarded as a thought leader in global citizenship education, Ryan has advised school systems, foundations, national governments, and the United Nations. In 2017, THIMUN Foundation and THIMUN Qatar recognized him with a lifetime achievement award at the Qatar Leadership Conference. Prior to Best Delegate, Ryan was a risk analyst at Goldman Sachs during the 2008-2010 financial crisis. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, where he volunteers as champion for social entrepreneurship and the Sustainable Development Goals. Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University and certificates from Harvard Business School and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
