New Airman Guide

FROM THE COMMANDER

To All New Airmen,

     Welcome to Civil Air Patrol and thank you for volunteering your time and energy to support our missions and our community.  When facing new things there is always a sense of concern or a fear of the unknown.  As a new airman of the Lafayette Composite Squadron (LCS) you will not take these first steps alone.  Your fellow airmen are here to mentor and guide you into and through this journey.

     To assist you with integration into LCS, this module will present you with a series of briefings designed to help understand the operation of the Squadron, Initial Training, Logistics, Professional Development, Emergency Services Training and Aerospace Education. 

     There is a lot of information being presented here. Stand up straight, shoulders back and lets get ready to take that first step.
