Reflection

I believe through out this semester, I want to say this class is one of my favorite class that I look forward to everyday. I love being in this class and being challenge on some things that I thought that I could never do. In the beginning of the school year, I wasn't sure if I knew how to draw good or paint. But luckily with a great teacher in hand, I was able to express my artistic self in a way I did not know that I have. Of course I learned how to paint and draw, but if you dig a little deeper than that, I was able to learn some great valuable things to critique my drawing and paintings. For instance, I learned how to do a gratitude scale, learn anthropomorphic pictures, vanishing points, surrealism, shadows, and many other stuff to make my work ten times better. I also learned new techniques of painting as well. Technique such as when you are painting, you need to paint with the motion and flicks of the wrist, not moving your whole arm. Like what my art teacher says all the time "Its the little things that will take your work further and look better," and I believe I have accomplished that. Over the course, I believe that I grew in believing in myself and that I was able to accomplish something that I will need for in the future. Now, I am able to take my artistic style to college and even learn more techniques or ways to increase my knowledge of art.
