Kidtivities are back at the Topeka Toy Store! Enjoy a range of fun new crafts happening every Monday this summer, starting June 16th. Look forward to awesome activities like digging dinosaur skeletons, making your own kaleidoscope, creating bead animals, and so much more!

Make your own Kaleidoscope
Make your own Kaleidoscope
July 7th @ 11AM & 2PM
Ever wondered how a Kaleidoscope works? Now you can find out and make one of your very own! On July 7th, we'll give a fun little lesson about how kaleidoscopes work using a trio of mirrors before helping participants create their own "swirl tubes" to insert into a pre-built tube (so younger kids won't need to work with glass) and create their own fun swirling patterns and images using glitter, trinkets, beads and glow in the dark stickers! And of course we'll finish it off with a few games, a story time, and a snack!

Recommended ages 5 and up, but younger ones are welcome, they just may need a little extra assistance!

Cute critters on key chains abound! Make fun key chain animals like flamingos, lizards, and butterflies, or fun shapes like pineapples, soda bottles, and sunflowers! Our talented staff will help you create a couple of fun charms for any occasion, for you to keep or give to your friends! And of course, we'll be having a storytime and a snack!
