Parents play an important role in the spiritual formation of a child. You are the main influencers to your child. In AWANA, we partner with parents to build the foundation on which the children's faith will grow.
Parents review the handbook chapter, help children to understand the content, encourage them to remember the memory verse at home and apply what they learned in their daily life in a practical life.

Parent's Role
Support your child in working through the handbook's lesson activities.
Encourage your child to memorize the lesson's memory verse(s) by practicing with them or her and celebrating his or her success. Check out the tips to help children to memorize bible verses.
Connect with your child over what he or she is learning.
If you have questions, seek help from your child's leader and receive communication from him or her about your child's discipleship experience at Awana.

Sparks clubbers who first AWANA will be introduced to the gospel message in the Entrance Booklets Flight 3:16.
Handbooks
Handbooks
After clubbers complete the Entrance Booklet, they will receive a uniform and the first handbook, Hang Glider. As clubbers progress, they will move on to Book 2, Wing Runner, and Book 3, Sky Stormer.
The handbook contains stories and activities to help clubbers learn about God and the Bible. It also includes downloadable soundtracks.

Uniform
Uniform helps a clubber to feel belonged and special. It also serves as a visual reminder of his/her achievement. Clubbers will wear their uniform when attending Awana.

Clubbers earn awards for attending the club day, wearing a uniform, bringing a handbook, and reciting Bible memory verses.

Handbook Audio CD
This audio files allow you to listen to story and the Bible verses in the handbook. It also include the songs of the Bible Book which help children to remember the books in the Bible.
