At The Streetly Academy, we have processes in place, using the Graduated Approach, to identify students needing further support. This includes the involvement of teaching staff, Teaching Assistants, parents and the child.
We recognise that attendance difficulties may sometimes be linked to unmet need, anxiety, wellbeing and belonging, or barriers to participation. The graduated and supportive approach ensures we work collaboratively with families and external agencies where appropriate, to support students in overcoming these barriers.
