Friday 7:30 - Retro Games - in Diplomat (right side)
Retro Games will consist of: Pick Up Sticks, Jacks + Balls, Pin the Tail on the Piggy. Individual and overall winners will be crowned.
Pick up Sticks – Hold the sticks in a very loose grip with the bottom of the sticks no more than a fist’s width from the table. Drop them. Pick up as many sticks as you can in one minute without moving any other sticks during each pickup. You may use a picked up stick to help you. If any other stick than the one you are trying to pick up moves, your round is over. 3 rounds. High score wins.
Jacks and Balls – onesies, twosies, tensies! – Scatter the jacks. Toss the ball into the air. Pick up the correct number of jacks. Let the ball bounce once. Grab the ball with the same hand that holds the jacks before it bounces a second time. Yes, there will be practice time. (Hint – play standing instead of sitting – it gives you more mobility.)
Pin the tail on the Piggy. You will be turned, back to the white board, blindfolded, and handed a white board marker. Go to the board and draw a piggy tail on the piggy. Closest to the center of the target wins. Two tries each.

Saturday 1:30 PM – Flotzl – Diplomat (right side)
There is a sign up sheet as we are limited to 24 players.
Flotzl is a trick taking card game where taking the last trick each hand brands you the loser. In play for regular Flotzl, game ends when a score of 27 is reached. In Tournament Flotzl, we’ll play four hands per game, 3 games total. The 27 rule is not used. Players will draw for table and position each game. You’ll keep your score on your own sheet and turn that in after play.
Game play is meet or beat the highest card played each hand, not just the card played in front of you. You must meet or beat the highest card played in the current hand. If you cannot, you must play the lowest card in your hand (2s low, Aces high). Tricks are not taken. Splay your played cards in front of you for all to see. Whoever takes the trick leads for the next trick. Just don’t take the last trick! If you do, that card becomes part of your score.

Saturday 6:00 PM – Pass the Pigs – Diplomat (right side) Master: Jameson Thornton
Pass the Pigs is a classic "press-your-luck" dice game where the dice are actually miniature pigs. On your turn, you toss the pigs and earn points based on how they land—the more difficult the position, the higher the points. You can keep rolling to build your score, but be careful: if you roll a "Pig Out" (pigs on opposite sides), you lose all points earned that turn. If you roll "Makin' Bacon" (pigs touching), you lose your entire game score! The goal is to bank your points before you lose them, balancing greed against the risk of a total snout-dive.
Tournament Rules & Structure
The Format: You will play 3 Round Robin rounds. In each round, you’ll be grouped with different opponents to toss the swine.
Winning a Round: A round ends immediately when one player reaches 100 points or the 15-minute timer expires.
Scoring: At the end of each round, your total points will be recorded. Hog Calling is excluded to keep the gameplay fast and focused.
The Final Table: Once all three rounds are complete, the 4 players with the highest cumulative scores across the entire tournament will advance to the Final Table.
The Championship: The Final Table is a winner-take-all match to 100 points. The first to hit the mark (or the leader when the timer hits) is crowned the Tournament Champion!
Saturday 7:30 PM – Conspiracy Theory Game readings – Ballroom (left side)
Read your Conspiracy Theory based on the word list you were given. Theatrics count in your presentation :-)
Saturday 8:30 PM – Exploding Kittens - Diplomat (right side) Master: Nancy Alspach

Saturday 10:00 PM – DDCH Finals – Diplomat (right side)
Those who won a pick up game of at least 6 players, and placed their name on the Winners sheet near Registration, will gather for the Finals. Remember, there are no friends at a Hearts table!
Sunday 9:00 AM – True Greed – Diplomat (right side)
A dicey game of personality. Watch if people play conservatively, appropriate for their score or truly greedily. Who do you want to be your friend? No experience required. It’s a rule that veteran players must help new players.
Sunday 10:30 AM – Bring Home the Bacon! A puzzle Quest – Diplomat (speaker side) Master: Drew Wagers
Our fabulous pig has misplaced his treasured piggy bank somewhere inside this hotel, while he was enjoying the RG. He needs you to retrace his steps and solve puzzles along the way to find the bank and reveal the combination. For this tournament, you will need to solve puzzles and explore the entire hotel and is not confined to a single room. This game is one part scavenger hunt, one part escape room, and all fun.
He left behind 8 puzzles, each of varying type and difficulty: Scavenger hunts, Ciphers, Word Plays, Logic Puzzles and a few surprises. No two puzzles are the same.
Form your teams of up to 4 and begin the hunt. You will be given a puzzle to start, solving the puzzle will reveal another location in the hotel, go to that location to solve the next puzzle. Solving all 8 puzzles will lead to the bank, and the combination needed to open. The team that opens the bank gets to keep whatever treasures are inside.
