Thursday outing with Nifty
Arrived early and want something to do? Join Nifty for a walking tour (weather permitting) of Cincinnati neighborhood Over-the-Rhine (OTR). Learn about local history and see some beautiful architecture. Thursday 06Mar coincides with the local monthly Microbrewery Crawl event which will be held at OTR's Rosedale from 6-8pm.

Visit Carillon Historical Park
Step back in time and explore the rich history of Dayton and the Miami Valley. Discover a collection of historic buildings, artifacts, and exhibits that showcase the region's industrial heritage, aviation innovations, and the ingenuity of its people across this 65-acre open-air history museum. On the day of this outing the Park Railroad will also be operating!
This group outing is being coordinated by Gwen Raab, Dayton Area Mensa LocSec. Meet up with Gwen and the rest of the crew at noon where you can grab a bite or a pint at Carillon Brewing Co. Hours on Friday are: 9:30-5 if you want to arrive early to explore on your own. Parking is free. Each person will purchase their own tickets for this outing. Entrance fees; $14 for Adults; $12 for 60 +; $10 for 3-17; Under 3 is Free.

Enjoy a cold bock beer while learning about Cincinnati's rich heritage from a variety of local brewers and historians . This event is FREE. This event takes place in the Beer Baron Hall at Moerlein Lager House the Moerlein Lager House, 115 Joe Nuxhall Way.
Every half hour 1 pm-3:30 pm: Brewing Heritage Tour

Join the Brewing Heritage Trail on this special, Bockfest Weekend Tour, with access to a historic brewery not normally open to the public and only available through this tour!
Upon arriving at the Lafayette Brewery, we'll grab a bock beer (included with the 21 & up tour ticket) and check out the site from top to bottom, learning about it's storied past, current activities, and future plans for the facility. The total walking distance of the tour is about 1/2 a mile and multiple flights of stairs are required to explore the facility, so please make sure to wear appropriate shoes for the tour!
