Welcome to the application portal for the 11th YSEALI Summit!
This year’s Summit will take place in Luang Prabang, Laos, from 2 to 5 December 2024 with a thematic focus on Southeast Asia's creative economy.
This fully-funded Summit will bring together 100 YSEALI Alumni for three full days of hands-on activities, stimulating dialogue with peers and top experts, leadership skill-building, cultural activities, networking, and more. This Summit aims to connect, inspire, and support the next generation of YSEALI members, empowering them to create and pursue such economic opportunities within diverse creative industries.
The application is due on Sunday, 29 September 2024 at 11:59pm (GMT +7).

The YSEALI Summit is open to YSEALI Alumni only. This means that, to be eligible, applicants must have already participated in at least one of the following programs:
YSEALI regional workshops
YSEALI Academic & Professional Fellowship Programs
YSEALI Seeds for the Future small grants competition
YSEALI Academy
To fulfill eligibility requirements, Alumni must be:
Available for the entire Summit, which runs 2 to 5 December 2024, with Alumni arriving in Laos on 2 December 2024 and departing on 6 December 2024.
18-35 years of age at the time of application and Summit (i.e., must be 18 years old by 15 September 2024 and must be 35 years old or younger on 6 December 2024).
A citizen and resident of: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, or Vietnam.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
The holder of a valid passport that expires in June 2025 or later, or plan to have one by 1 October 2024.
This year’s theme is "Connecting the Creative Economy." The summit is particularly geared toward those working in creative industries, creative professionals in other sectors, and individuals who facilitate the work of creatives. However, all YSEALI Alumni are encouraged to apply, regardless of background—this is your chance to connect, learn, and grow with fellow leaders from the region.
