The Steel Group provided the airside exterior crew stairs for the new Delta Airlines multibillion dollar expansion at Laguardia Airport in Queens, NY. The stairs totaled over 475 tons of miscellaneous steel and consisted of over 45,000 manhours to complete.
Carolina 85 Logistics Center
The Steel Group fabricated the structural and miscellaneous steel for the new Carolina 85 Logistics Center in Kings Mountain, NC. The building consisted of over 300,000 sf of new construction.
The Steel Group fabricated this one story lobby stair for Nephron Pharmaceuticals in Cayce, SC. The stair was made from rolled plate with stainless steel handrails. The customer wanted the exposed rust appearance which was accomplished through acid washing and top coating with a clear finish.
