The Cast

CLAIRE ADAMS (Mary Bennet)

Claire has acted in Stagecrafters’ productions of Much Ado About Nothing (Margaret), Chapter Two (Narrator of staged reading), and Tartuffe (Flipote). Credits at other theaters include: Merry Wives of Windsor (Pistol), Our Town (Mrs. Gibbs), The Mousetrap (Major Metcalf), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), Arsenic and Old Lace (Teddy), and Twelfth Night (Maria), all at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Off stage at Stagecrafters she has worked as Stage Manager, Assistant Costumer, Stage Crew, and Set Construction crew for past shows. Claire holds a BA in Communications, with a concentration in theater, from The College of St. Scholastica. Claire is “absolutely mad” for Jane Austen, having read all the novels and holds decided opinions on the best TV/movie adaptations for each one. She enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and painting. She does not play piano, but would have been greatly proficient if she ever learned!

SAM OBERLE (Arthur de Bourgh)

Sam is acting on our stage for the first time. At the University of the Arts he had acted in a student-written show, BERSERK! (Sermon); Ride the Cyclone (Ricky); and A New Brain (Mr. Bungee). At the Academy of Music he was a Supernumerary in Otello. Sam is a 2021 graduate in Theatre from The University of the Arts, and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to be back on stage again with such a wonderful cast and production crew.

CARLY BELKO (Elizabeth Darcy - “Lizzy”)

Carly is also appearing on our stage for her first time. She has appeared in: in Philadelphia, Silent Sky (Margaret Leavitt) at the Skinner Studio at Plays & Players Theatre; in New York, Murder on the Nile (Jacqueline de Severac) at Producers’ Club Grand Theatre, And Then There Were None (Vera Claythorne) at Times Square Arts Center, Julius Caesar (Portia) at June Havoc Theatre, and God of Vengeance (Sarah) at Powerhouse Theatre.

MARK SHERLOCK (Fitzwilliam Darcy)

Mark appeared in our production of Witness for the Prosecution (Leonard Vole), and, along with his wife Jess have adapted and performed children’s shows for Stagecrafters events. They appeared in our 2022 Halloween show. Other acting credits include: Macbeth (Ross) at Delaware Shakespeare Festival; Nancy Drew at Orlando Repertory Theatre; The Odd Couple (Murray) at Garden Theatre (FL); Spring 2017 tour with Bright Star Touring Theatre; Coriolanus at Gamut Theatre Group; and Brave Little Tailor (various roles) at Enchantment Theatre Company. Mark has taught drama at Stetson University and Purdue University, and he has worked as a teaching artist with Orlando Repertory Theatre. He holds an MFA in Theatre from Purdue University and a BA in Theatre from Temple University. Love to J.

LILLIAN MOFFATT (Jane Bingley)

Lillian is appearing for the first time at our theater. She had appeared in Romeo and Juliet and Gruesome Playground Injuries at Bryn Mawr College, from which she holds a 2022 degree in Theater. She is a Ghost Tour Guide with Philly Ghosts, and works as a “standardized patient” at Temple University and at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Thanks to my wife, Hazel, and our dog, cat, and gecko for their support.

GILAD AVRAHAMI (Charles Bingley)

Gilad is also appearing for his first time at our theater. Acting credits locally include Romeo and Juliet at Bryn Mawr College; As You Like It at Haverford College; and Much Ado About Nothing and Our Town at Hunter College High School, New York. Gilad has directing experience in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at The Spotlight Theatre Company of Haverford College, and The Laramie Project, Savior, All My Sons, and Robin Hood at Hunter College High School. He does play the piano and has served as an apprentice teacher for a middle school theatre class. He admits to being a crossword fiend, a language lover, and a recent Jeopardy contestant.

KIERA SHEEHAN (Lydia Wickham)

Kiera also is appearing at The Stagecrafters for the first time. Acting experiences include Life Sucks (Sonia) at Allens Lane Art Center, As You Like It (Rosalind) and Cloud 9 (Clive and Victoria) at The Hartt School, A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit) at Hartford Stage. Kiera holds a BFA in Actor Training from the Hartt School, and studied Shakespeare Acting Intensive, Drama Studio London.

DIAMOND PRINCESS FRANKLIN (Anne de Bourgh)

This is Diamond's first appearance acting at our theater. She has performed in various plays and musicals, including The Secret Garden, Guys and Dolls, The Wiz, and In the Heights. She is a classically trained vocalist and actress specializing in opera, jazz, and Gospel music; she has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Walnut Street Theater, and at The Kimmel Center with Rock and R&B artists, Bon Jovi and Estelle. Diamond received a Bachelor of Music from Cairn University in Langhorne, PA. She has volunteered as a music instructor for autistic students with the Philadelphia School District; she has also worked as a vocal coach at The Settlement School, and educates youth in musical theatre as a Kimmel Center Teaching Artist. Diamond enjoys reading historical fiction and spending time with her family and her adorable tabby cat, Loki.
