Pickups I made a custom set of single coils just for this guitar.
I modified a old soldering time to heat up the frets
After heating up the fret i can remove all the frets
I re radiused the fingerboard.
I saved all the sanding dust to use for rosewood fingerboards.
My homemade fret bender.
Filing down the tang so it sits just over the binding.
The fingerboard after i waxed it so the glue will only stick to the frets and fret slots.
Gluing and clamping the frets in place.
Leveling the fret ends to the fingerboard.
Leveling the frets tops to match the fingerboard radius.
Setting the string spacing for the handmade bone nut.
The bone nut before the final height and polish.
This guitar has had quite a few different machine head installs.
I glues dowel rods into the holes.
sanded the back to make the dowels flush.
Filled in any remaining holes and dents to level the back.
I used the pickups in this guitar for my last Kent project so i had to hand wind a new set.
