Installing an Endpin Jack and Seymour Duncan Pickup
Installing an Endpin Jack and Seymour Duncan Pickup
This one came back in to get the Pickup semi permanently installed.
This Seymour Duncan acoustic pickup had an extremely long cord
Its a good sounding pickup the customer just wanted a little more usability without the 14 ft. cable hanging out the guitar.
I measured the cable length and left a little extra for cable management.
The endpin jack. This one is made by switchcraft
Soldering the wires onto the jack
Ready to install into the guitar.
The first step is to enlarge the hole
The new jack installed and ready to go
The pickup just popped in place
I made an extra cable with the leftovers
The new cable with both ends attached.
I was glad to be able to make this guitar more of what the customer wanted.
