This one came is as it was a gift for the customers son and he wanted the guitar setup and wanted the pickups raised up with shims.
First things first i always tape and pad down the tailpiece. This thing flopping around will easily damage the finish on the instrument.
The headstock needed to be cleaned and polished.
The fret ends were sharp almost to the point of cutting you while you played.
The pickup output was incredibly low on the neck pickup so the customer wanted me to place some shims under it to level out the sound.
The pickup shim.
The pickup with the shim underneath it.
the frets ends after rounding them off.
The nut slots were all cut high
I lowered them down to the correct depth.
The bridge string slots needed to be deepened to hold the strings in place better.
