Holger Putz was born in 1968 in Mechernich, Germany. After graduating from high school, he studied Chemistry in Bonn, Germany and got his Ph.D. there in 1997. From 1998 to 2000 he worked at the GMD (Society for Mathematics and Data Processing, Sankt Augustin, Germany) before he joined Crystal Impact in January 2001. Here, he continued his work on the "Endeavour" calculation kernel and finally (in autumn 2002) began to develop “Match!”.

Dr. Sudhindra Rayaprol is working as scientist – G at UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Mumbai center since 2006. He completed his Ph.D. From Saurashtra University, Rajkot in 2003 and Postdoctoral research from the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research, Mumbai in 2005. He has received the prestigious Alexander Von Hmboldt research fellowship and worked as researcher at Institute fur Anorganische und Analytische Chemie, Universitat Münster, Germany from 2005-2006. He was also awarded N. S. Satyamurthy memorial award in Physics for young scientists for the year 2010 given by Indian Physics Association and young achiever award in the DAE – solid state physics symposium – 2011.

Dr. Shivani Sharma is currently working as a research associate in Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA. She was a post-doctoral fellow at National High Magnetic Field Lab, Florida State University, Florida, USA since December 2019. She has received DST inspire faculty award in material science in july-2017 and worked as DST inspire faculty at Indian institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, January 2018 – march 2018. She completed her PH.D. From UGC-DAE consortium for scientific research, Indore in 2017. Her research interest includes material synthesis (polycrystal and single crystal using melt growth, bridgeman, flux growth etc., structural characterization using x-rays, physical properties measurements using PPMS and MPMS, structural characterization using 25 T dc field based XRD setup.

Dr. Pradeep Reddy Vanga is working as an Assistant Professor in Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai in School of Science and Humanities since 2017. He completed his M.Sc from Pondicherry University and Ph.D. From NIT Trichy. He has several publications in the international peer reviewed journals. His research work is focused on multiferroics and photocatalysis.
