About Me

I am the sixth grade teacher at St. Ann's, Science teacher for the middle school and the middle school coordinator. I have a history with the diocese, since I went to Corpus Christi as well as Saint Mark's High School. I later graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in secondary education. I have two children: a daughter, Kaylee, and a son, Gabriel. Kaylee is a graduate from St. Ann's, attended Archmere Academy and now goes to the University of South Carolina. My son is currently in the middle school at St. Ann's. This will be my 22nd year teaching at St. Ann's. I was inspired to become a teacher when I myself was in middle school. Every day I saw how much the staff enjoyed teaching us about both academics and life. My 7th grade teacher in particular taught me a great deal about effort, perseverance and realizing your potential. I hope I inspire my students in the same way.

My mission is to teach the students to be better people by the end of their sixth grade year- spiritually, academically and socially. I hope that during this process they learn a lot, while also having fun.
