Alon ng Kabayanihan
Alon Ng Kabayanihan is a national advocacy and education campaign by CIRIS that aims to spark public awareness, unity, and civic action around the protection of the West Philippine Sea (WPS) and Philippine sovereignty.
At the center of the campaign is this dramatic short film that tells the story of two estranged brothers—a Navy officer and a fisherfolk—who set aside their differences to defend their homeland as modern day bayanis.
Food Delivery
CIRIS is working with Voyage Studios and Director Babyruth Villarama in having the repeatedly suppressed documentary "Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea" widely released and distributed, especially locally.
At CIRIS, we firmly believe that in the face of disinformation, misinformation, and malign influence (DMMI) campaigns, especially by foreign actors, transparent access to credible storytelling is a powerful defense.
Due to the flood of disinformation, misinformation, and malign influence (DMMI) against the West Philippine Sea, CIRIS has created FAQs on the topic to help further guide the public.
