It is advised that you keep close track of your library card and/or library card number - save it on your device so it's handy! Use the library catalog to search for matierals (books, ebooks, audiobooks, etc.) and check out the research section of the library web site for access to a number of databases. Ones we think you might find most useful are linked below - just remember, you will have to sign in with your library card in order to access them.

Remember, you can visit any branch of the library in the county and use the services they have available including computer access, printing, and reference librarians, not to mention books.

Teachers who would like to plan a field trip to one of the Alachua County Library branches should reach out to staff at the branch they would like to visit OR contact the Youth Services department to find out more about what specific programs the library offers for students. Librarians are available to provide guidance for students as they look for appropriate references for projects.
