To arrive at Future City in Kiawah, the closest airport to fly in and out of is Charleston International Airport (CHS) – 33 miles from the Sanctuary. The drive will take approximately 40-50mins.
Recommended ground transportation options:
On Island transportation: The Sanctuary offers private airport pick-ups and drop-offs. Please contact (855) 684-2974 to arrange.
Uber/Lyft: You can Uber from the airport to the hotel on average from $90+.
(Please note this will be one way due to the private nature of the Island, no Ubers are permitted to pick up from Kiawah Island).Rental Car: All major rental companies are available at Charleston Airport. Click here to find out more: Charleston Airport Vehicle Rentals.
