Low Cost Spay/Neuter and Vet Visit Program
Our Organization Was Founded In 2019 By Amber Joslin, A Compassionate Animal Lover Who Was Shocked To Discover The Large Number Of Feral Cats In The Yuma, Arizona Community. After Rescuing A Litter Of Abandoned Kittens, Amber Knew She Had To Do Something To Make A Difference, No Matter How Small.
What Began As A Few Kittens In Foster Care Quickly Evolved Into A Quest To Save As Many Animals As Possible. The Animals In Our Care Have Found Loving Forever Homes Thanks To Bottle Feeding, Fostering, And A Committed Team Of Volunteers At Purr Project Animal Rescue.
However, Amber Realized That Simply Adopting Out Cats Wouldn’t Address The Bigger Problem Of Wild Cat Overpopulation. As A Result, Spaying And Neutering Are Now A Major Component Of Purr Project Animal Rescue’s Purpose. We Are Dedicated To Helping Residents Care For Their Own Pets And Lowering The Number Of Homeless Animals In Our Neighborhood.
We are pleased to announce that Amber has been honored as a pioneer in animal rescue, has won numerous accolades, and has been chosen as one of our neighborhood’s #Nextdoor100. We Are Honored To Carry On Her Legacy By Aiding As Many Animals As We Can. Purr Project Animal Rescue Reflects Her Commitment And Enthusiasm For Animal Welfare.
At Purr Project Animal Rescue We Would Like To See All Animals Treated Respectfully And Taken Care Of Properly. We Work To Make This A Reality In Our Community Because We Firmly Think That Every Animal Deserves A Secure And Loving Environment. We Hope To Encourage Others To Join Us In Our Objective To Reduce Animal Suffering And Advance Animal Welfare Through Our Efforts At Rescue, Spay And Neuter, And Rehabilitation. We Imagine A Time When Everyone In Our Community Works Together To Improve The Quality Of Life For Both People And Animals. Every Animal Will Be Treated With The Respect And Dignity That They So Richly Deserve.
We are just people who genuinely love animals. Together, our goal is to enhance the welfare of animals in our community through rescue, treatment, spaying and neutering, and adoption. We are dedicated to lowering the number of homeless animals through spaying and neutering and public education on ethical pet ownership.
