Gathering and eating together is one of the best ways to get to know one another & stay connected. Try meeting at different small group members homes each week, or at a local park, or online.
Study time or discussion time is an important part of gathering as a group. There doesn't necessarily need to be someone who is the "leader" of the conversation, but it might be helpful to have a facilitator.
Small groups can use many different materials to support study/discussion:
Engaging sermon series discussion questions (provided regularly by Pastor Katie to small group leaders)
Choosing a book of the Bible to read through and study
Choosing a Bible study book to guide scripture reading
Choosing another kind of book to read through together
Spend a few minutes at the end of each gathering to ask how you might be in prayer for one another until you next meet. It can be helpful for someone to write down these requests and send them out to the group.
Before you go, be sure to set the time & place for your next gathering!
