The staff at TOA have a group of dedicated teachers who support the Pride groups and are here to help if you have a difficult situation at school. Email them on: safeguarding@theoxfordacademy.org
You can call or email this children’s charity for free if you’re a person under 18 who needs support. You can call on 0800 1111, even if you don’t have credit on your phone, and it won’t show up on your phone bill. They have tips and information about coronavirus.
This trans youth work charity provides peer support groups, youth worker-led sessions and activities for young trans, non-binary people and gender questioning people. They’ve adapted to provide some online services, with updates about other services.
Mermaids
Mermaids supports transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children and young people until their 20th birthday, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care. We also currently offer web chat support to students up to the age of 25.
