Lawren is honored to be part of The Milk Mentor team, a practice grounded in biological and anthropological understandings of the lactation relationship. Her approach reflects a deep respect for infant feeding as both a physiological process and a relational experience shaped by connection, culture, and responsive care.
Lawren’s professional background spans both education and clinical care. She spent four years as an Early Childhood Educator, building a strong foundation in infant development, attachment, and family-centered support. For the past four years, she has also worked as a Birth, Bereavement, and Postpartum Doula, walking alongside families during some of their most meaningful and vulnerable moments.
She is a Certified Lactation Educator and is currently completing nursing school while working per diem in a local emergency department. These experiences have strengthened her ability to provide calm, evidence-based care while honoring the emotional realities of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life.
Lawren approaches lactation care with a whole-family lens, meeting parents where they are and supporting informed, confident decision-making. She is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where families feel empowered in their feeding choices.
