A brief history

In my 25+ years as an educator, literacy teacher and teacher librarian, I've learned a lot about the realities of education. I've taught in both poor and wealthy NYC private schools, and public schools in NYC and the Hudson Valley serving the wealthiest to the poorest students from countries across the world. I've worked in schools with hardly any technology, and schools that were blessed with an abundance of materials and staff development to train me in their use.

My goal has always been to treat my students how I'd want my own children to be treated, and provide them with access to the best possible materials and information in the most equitable way possible. Sometimes I had great ready-made materials to work with. For the most part, I've made my own. I opened my TPT store in 2023 to share with other busy educators my best resources created during my career in education.

I hope you will find them helpful and an ease to the burden you carry everyday as an educator in these unprecedented times.
