Sublimation printing uses heat to transfer dye onto polyester fabric, ceramic, and more. The dye becomes a gas when heated, bonding with the fibers of the material for vibrant, long-lasting colors. Create custom items like mugs, tumblers, mousepads, and other personalized gifts.
Makers bring in their own items on which to sublimate. Blanks are available on Amazon and at craft stores such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby. We recommend makers bring in extra materials to test on or account for mistakes.
Prints on media up to 8.5"x 11".
If sublimating fabric such as t-shirts, a white polyester shirt will produce the best results. The higher percentage polyester the better, but we do not recommend less than 50% polyester. Light color shirts will work as well, but the ink is transparent, so the color of the shirt will show through the ink.
