Introduction

Dear Prospective A Level Business student,

Investigating business in a competitive environment

We are very pleased that you are considering joining us in September 2021 as part of the Year 12 A Level Business cohort. We hope that the following tasks will be able to keep you busy and engaged over the next few weeks. Context

This year the context is the market for chocolate confectionery and the private businesses operating in this market in the UK and/or internationally.

Research

We are asking you to complete two different research tasks over the next four weeks, which, we hope, will give you a greater insight into the world of business and in particular marketing. We also hope that you will be interested in the research tasks. You will need to produce your answers in a Word document and send your work to me in one Word document, called Business 2021 (followed by your name) at the following email address- dwells@thelangton.org.uk.
