Welcome to TKA Elementary!

TKA Elementary Families,

My name is Kelly Sullivan. I serve as the Elementary Principal at The King's Academy. TKA is a very special place to work and serve. I am approaching my 15th year in education. My first 10 years in education was in Blount County serving as an educator in grades 3-5, Lead Teacher, Grade Level Instructional Coach, and Hybrid Administrator. In the summer of 2018, God opened the door for me to accept a position at TKA as the Assistant Principal/Academic Dean serving grades K4-12. The school year of 2019-2020, I had the privilege to begin my new role of serving TKA as the Elementary Principal. It is a true blessing to be a part of this wonderful TKA family and to share the love of Christ together.

My education includes a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6 with Interdisciplinary Studies in History and Mathematics; Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction; and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership and Supervision.

My hobbies include fitness, outdoor adventures with my family, and spending time with close friends and family. I have a beautiful daughter named Peyton. She will turn 5 years old in September and is attending TKA in our K4 program. She is definitely an answered prayer and special blessing in my life. My favorite bible study teachers are Beth Moore, Lysa Terkeurst, and Priscilla Shirer. My favorite scripture is Romans 8:28. It says "And we know that in all things God works for the good to those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

It is a great honor to serve alongside you as we partner together in your child's educational journey here at TKA.
