Name your company something that has a generic but dynamic URL using names and words that are dynamic like: DS Designs, or “x” Creations, Innovations, Forms, Renderings, Create, Imaginations, Expressions, Genesis, Synergy, Originals, Solutions, Creativity, Formations, Engineering, etc.. Students are to then create sections within it for different classes if needed. The site should be portable, meaning students can take it with them when they leave ASD.

DO NOT MAKE THE URL: www.johnsvideobroadcasting.wix.com.

INSTEAD, MAKE THE URL: www.jcreations.wix.com (for example). Then the site can be used for many classes and topics.

Purposes of Creating an ePortfolio Website:

To help students reflect on their learning, to serve as a method of demonstrating learning, and to show and market skills they have developed to potential universities, employers, internship opportunities, etc.

People also need a portfolio in today's hyper-competitive world to differentiate themselves from others and show their skills. This ePortfolio can also be used to show projects and designs from other classes as well.
