About Us

Hello! I'm Thomara, a devoted and spirited mother who believes in the power of personalized education and celebrating every child's unique strengths. As a neurodivergent individual myself, I have navigated the world in my own distinct way, which has given me a wealth of empathy and insight into the needs of neurodivergent learners. Currently, I am immersively homeschooling my wonderful neurodivergent son, Isaiah,  who continuously amazes me with his inventive mind and boundless energy.

Our homeschooling journey is all about creating a supportive, adaptive, and stimulating environment tailored specifically to Isaiah's needs. We steer away from traditional educational methods, instead embracing hands-on learning experiences, creative problem-solving activities, and other approaches that align with his interests and abilities. I am dedicated to seeing him grow into a self-assured, curious, and capable individual, ready to take on the world in his own remarkable way.

Beyond our day-to-day homeschooling adventures, I am a strong advocate for neurodiversity and education reform. I engage with various advocacy groups and communities to promote an inclusive educational framework that honors and accommodates different neurodivergent needs.

MISSION

Our mission is to provide an inclusive and empowering homeschooling environment for BIPOC and neurodivergent learners, following a Curious|Active|Fun philosophy. We offer personalized educational experiences that honor and celebrate diverse backgrounds. Our approach fosters emotional and social development, inspires through advocacy, and cultivates a lifelong love of learning. By empowering learners of all ages and backgrounds to discover their passions, develop their skills, and design their futures, we strive for an equitable and enriched future for all.

VISION

Our vision is to create a vibrant and equitable homeschool program and community where BIPOC and neurodivergent individuals thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We visualize a future where every learner and family member is empowered to reach their full potential, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to shape a brighter tomorrow for themselves and their communities.
