Welcome to the ultimate Washington, D.C. Family Adventure Scavenger Hunt! Explore some of the most iconic landmarks and museums of the nation's capital while engaging in fun, interactive activities. Here’s a step-by-step guide to your adventure:
**Smithsonian American Art Museum & Renwick Gallery**
**Task**: Find the colorful “Ghost Clock” by Wendell Castle at the Renwick Gallery. Take a creative family photo imitating the ghostly clock.
**Bonus**: At the Smithsonian American Art Museum, find a painting by Georgia O’Keeffe. What is the name of the painting, and what do you think it represents?
**Smithsonian Institution Building (The Castle)**
**Task**: In the beautiful gardens outside the Castle, find a plant or flower you’ve never seen before. Take a picture and describe it in one sentence.
**Bonus**: Inside the Castle, locate the “Castle Café” and discover what special treat they offer that day.
**Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum**
**Task**: Find the actual spacecraft that first landed humans on the moon. What is its name, and in what year did it land?

**Lincoln Memorial**
**Task**: Climb to the top and read the Gettysburg Address inscribed on the wall. Find one word that stands out to you and explain why.

**Task**: Stand at the base and take a panoramic family photo with the monument in the background. Try to get the full height in your shot!
