A family learning on purpose — and on the move.

The Sobrinos are a roadschooling, service‑minded, curiosity‑driven family who believe the world is one giant classroom. What started as weekend adventures and cross‑state service trips grew into a full movement for family learning, and eventually became Miles4theMinds, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families explore with purpose.

Led by educator and founder Angel Sobrino, the family has spent years traveling across the country, exploring ecosystems, historic towns, cultural landmarks, and community hubs. Along the way, they’ve built a rhythm of mindful travel, hands‑on learning, and giving back; a rhythm they now share with families through Miles4theMinds programs.

Whether they’re hiking national parks, volunteering in new cities, or learning from local communities, the Sobrinos model what it looks like to grow together, stay curious, and make every mile meaningful. They try to give more than they take.
