Wheelchair transportation
Wheelchair Transport means non-emergency transport by a ground vehicle which is designed and equipped with a wheelchair lift to transport individuals who do not require EMT medical assistance during transport.
gurney transportation
Gurney Van Transport means any vehicle specially constructed, modified or equipped and/or used for the purpose of transporting patients who cannot travel in an upright, sitting position and for whom the need for any medical care, treatment or procedure is not required, likely, or foreseeable.
ambulatory transportation
Ambulatory transportation is the most common form of non-emergency medical transportation. It is for patients who are able to walk, or only need basic assistance.
