Eligibility:
We welcome submissions from writers who identify as members of underrepresented communities, including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA+, disabled, poor and marginalized voices.
Submissions are open to both emerging and established writers.
You must be the sole author of the submitted work.
Submission Format:
Please submit your work as a single document in either Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format.
Poetry submissions should consist of a collection of poems (at least 60 for print). Prose submissions should be a complete manuscript or a collection of short stories or essays (at least 100 pages in length for print).
Ensure that your work is double-spaced (except for poetry) and uses a legible font (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial) with a font size of 12 points.
Include a cover page with your name, contact information, and a brief bio.
Submission Process:
Submit your work via email to parisweslyn@theglacehouse.com with the subject line: "Poetry/Prose Submission - [Title of Your Work]."
In the body of the email, provide a brief introduction and summary of your submitted work.
Please include any relevant publication history or acknowledgments, if applicable.
Indicate whether you are interested in print publication, eBook publication, or both.
Simultaneous Submissions:
We accept simultaneous submissions; however, we kindly ask that you notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
If your submission is accepted for publication elsewhere, please withdraw your submission promptly.
Response Time:
We strive to respond to all submissions within two (2) months, but please note that the review process may take longer during peak submission periods.
If you haven't heard back from us after six (6) months, feel free to send a polite inquiry regarding the status of your submission.
If your work is selected for publication, we will provide a publishing contract detailing the terms and conditions of our agreement.

Zine submissions should be in a digital format. We accept files in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format.
Zines can be visual art, comics, illustrations, collages, poetry, prose, or any combination thereof.
Ensure that the file size is reasonable for emailing or sharing via file-sharing platforms.
Theme and Content:
Each zine publication may have a specific theme or be open to general submissions. Please check our website or social media for any specific calls for submissions.
We encourage content that promotes inclusivity, diversity, social justice, and creative exploration.
Feel free to experiment with different styles, formats, and genres. We value originality and fresh perspectives.
