Meet the Librarian

Hello! My name is Lisa Lode. I am happy to be the new teacher-librarian for Sible-Ocheyedan Schools.. I work in the libraries every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is my 29th year in education. I live in Sanborn with my husband Lee, who is the mechanic for O'Brien County. We have two sons, DJ, 22, who coaches football and jr. high baseball and is educational para for South O'Brien Schools. Dalton is 21and is working and thinking about what career he wants to go into.

I received my early childhood/elementary education bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa, my reading endorsement from Northwestern College, a master's degree in elementary counseling from Wayne State College, and a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa.

In my free time, I am usually reading or playing with some new piece of technology! My family likes to golf, watch football, baseball, and hockey. We are HUGE Vikings fans (Skol, Vikings!) and usually try to make it to at least one game each season!
