For over 20 years, CEO Anthony Mitchell has dedicated his life to empowering at-risk student-athletes through coaching, mentoring, teaching, and leadership development. His passion for community outreach and youth empowerment led to the creation of Championship Mindset, a transformative program designed to inspire personal growth, resilience, and long-term success.
Anthony is also the founder of Athletes Fitness, Inc., a performance training company established in 2001. The company focuses on building mental toughness, discipline, speed, strength, agility, and a relentless work ethic—giving athletes a true competitive edge.
Backed by a team of educators, mentors, trainers, and coaches, Anthony’s mission is clear: to help students, athletes, and communities develop the mindset and skills needed to succeed—not just in sports, but in life.
Anisa Lucas

👩🏽‍🏫 Meet Co-Founder Anisa Lucas
Anisa Lucas is a veteran educator with 20 years of experience in the classroom and beyond. She has taught every grade level from Pre-K through 12th grade, and has also served as an Instructional Coach and Curriculum Writer. Currently, she teaches Language Arts, using her Championship Mindset program to help students develop strong goals, values, and life skills.
Anisa considers herself a nation builder—someone deeply committed to shaping the next generation of leaders. She believes every child deserves a champion, and she strives to be that champion every single day. In 2017, she was honored as Teacher of the Year for her school and named a Teacher of the Year Semifinalist for her county.
Heidi Mitchell

🍎 Meet Heidi J. Mitchell – Educational Program Specialist
Heidi J. Mitchell serves as the Educational Program Specialist for Championship Mindset. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Education. With over 20 years of experience in elementary education, Heidi has taught grades K–5 and is recognized for her expertise in classroom management and creating engaging, student-centered learning environments.
Heidi brings both passion and professionalism to her role, helping to shape curriculum and support implementation of Championship Mindset at the early learning level. She and her husband, co-founder Anthony Mitchell, have been married for over 20 years and are proud parents to their son, Isaiah.
Anthony “Tony” Mitchell Jr.

🏋🏽‍♂️ Meet Anthony Mitchell Jr. – Associate Head Trainer
Anthony Mitchell Jr. is the Associate Head Trainer for Championship Mindset at AFI Elite. As one of the two sons of founder Anthony Mitchell Sr., he was raised on the very principles and values that drive the program today.
A proud student-athlete, Anthony maintained a 3.0 GPA while studying Business Marketing at Seton Hill University, where he also enjoyed a successful football career. His journey as both an athlete and mentor began early—he’s been actively involved with AFI Elite since 2006, working with youth of all ages alongside his father.
With a grounded, relatable approach, Anthony brings a fresh voice and deep connection to today’s youth. His lived experiences allow him to engage, inspire, and motivate students who face many of the same challenges he once did—making him a powerful role model both on and off the field.
Isaiah A. Mitchell

🎥 Meet Isaiah Mitchell – Assistant Trainer & Videographer
Isaiah Mitchell has been a part of the AFI Elite family since he was six years old, training under the same Championship Mindset principles that shaped the program. Today, he serves as an Assistant Trainer and Videographer, bringing energy, creativity, and firsthand experience to his work with athletes and students.
Isaiah is also a collegiate baseball player at Point Park University and a dedicated student, having earned Dean’s List honors both semesters of his freshman year. His passion for sports, media, and mentoring makes him a rising leader in the next generation of AFI Elite.
