Take Part in a Research Opportunity for the University of Alabama at Birmingham from Home
The Fletcher School is a founding member of the Association of LD Schools (ALDS), a national nonprofit network of over 50 independent schools dedicated to serving students with learning differences.
Our colleagues at the Spring Valley School shared this research opportunity with Dr. Caroline G. Richter at the University of Alabama at Birmingham:
Dr. Richter has collaborated with Spring Valley School in various research projects.
Caroline is now recruiting families for a new study called Engage.
The study is for children ages 8–10 in grades 3–5 who have reading disabilities (such as dyslexia) and their caregivers. It takes place fully at home and uses a video game to help improve focus and reading skills. All equipment (tablet/iPad and Wi-Fi) is provided, and families can earn up to $100 for participating.
Learn more with this flyer, which may also be shared on social media.
