NC Opportunity Scholarship Application Update for 2025-2026
The 2025-26 Opportunity Scholarship new student application currently remains open. NCSEAA will continue to make awards each month in order of application for full-year funding for applications submitted through September 30, 2025, as funds remain available for the program. The student must also be enrolled and attending by this date to be eligible for a fall award.
If funds remain available after that date, new applications may also be submitted from October 1 through December 31, 2025, for a scholarship award to start with the spring 2026 semester.
All Fletcher Families are strongly encouraged to apply (note: you do not need an IEP to apply for this scholarship). For more information and to access the application, please go to https://k12.ncseaa.edu/opportunity-scholarship/.
2025-2026 ESA+ and Opportunity Scholarship Recipient Families
We have now completed the School certification and endorsement process with NCSEAA for 2025-2026 ESA+ and Opportunity Scholarship award recipients.
If you have not already done so, please log into your NCSEAA portal and complete the parent endorsement step of the process.
Once that is complete, the state will disburse the fall semester award funds directly to the school.
If you have any questions, please contact Tracy Grocott, Controller, at tgrocott@thefletcherschool.org.
Student Attendance & Supervision at Home Sporting Events
We love seeing our students at home sporting events, cheering on the Falcons!
Please remember that students in grades K-8 must be supervised by an adult. The adult doesn't need to be the student's parent, but does need to acknowledge being responsible for the student.
Upper School students may attend sporting events without adult supervision.

Conference Day Treats Sign-Up

Make Screen Time Safe and Positive
Developing healthy habits for kids isn't just about things like brushing your teeth every day or getting enough sleep. Our everyday life is so connected with our digital experiences that being healthy with media and technology is part of being healthy in general.
Good news: Teaching digital well-being doesn't require being tech-savvy. Supportive conversations and role-modeling help kids—from toddlers to teens—learn to check in with their thoughts and feelings after screen time, take breaks and balance device use with offline activities, and reclaim control from addictively designed tech by creating device-free time or spaces.
Label Student Items
Please remember, as the weather cools, to label student items, especially hoodies, jackets, and sweaters.
