Need Another Window Tag for Carpool?
Do you need another window tag for carpool? Fill out this form, and we will send one home with your child.
For parents who regularly carpool with other families, it is helpful to have window tags for all the students who carpool with you.
Student Pick Up FAQ's
We often receive questions about student pick-ups, and this Student Pick Up document will answer many of them.
Please take a moment to read more if you want to know about: early dismissal, carpool, changes to pick up plans, pick up from extended day and drop-in programs, late student pick up, and authorized pick up contacts.
If you wish to reserve a specific date to celebrate your child’s birthday, please email frontdesk@thefletcherschool.org to make your reservation and get helpful instructions and tips.
NC Opportunity Scholarship Application Update for 2025-2026
The 2025-26 Opportunity Scholarship new student application currently remains open. NCSEAA will continue to make awards each month in order of application for full-year funding for applications submitted through September 30, 2025, as funds remain available for the program. The student must also be enrolled and attending by this date to be eligible for a fall award.
If funds remain available after that date, new applications may also be submitted from October 1 through December 31, 2025, for a scholarship award to start with the spring 2026 semester.
All Fletcher Families are strongly encouraged to apply (note: you do not need an IEP to apply for this scholarship). For more information and to access the application, please go to https://k12.ncseaa.edu/opportunity-scholarship/.
Ordering Lunch
The August and September lunch menus are linked at the bottom of ENOTES under Helpful Links and are also available on the FACTS Family Portal in the Resource Documents section.
Pre-ordering for grades K-3 is encouraged. Pre-orders are due by 5 p.m. on Thursdays for the following week. Follow these instructions. Students in grades K-3 may not make substitutions to the order.
All students in grades 4-12 may order their lunch directly through the cafeteria line. Pre-ordering is not available for grades 6-12.
Contact Ruth Waters, Registrar, at rwaters@thefletcherschool.org if you would like to have any notes or restrictions placed on your student’s account regarding breakfast, lunch, or snack purchases.
All food charges will be invoiced and drafted through each student’s FACTS account. View the 2025-2026 Dining Prices.
FLIK News - Two New Lunch Programs
"Time Traveler" is a new program where our lunch menu is a retrospective of a certain decade. It will, as always, be food we're all familiar with, and we have some fun signage to lighten up the day. The first one is the 2000s, and the ever-popular Chicken Tenders with Tater Tots. We will do this August’s Time Travel event on Friday, August 29.
“Imposters” is a new program where we offer two items for sampling: one traditional, one with a twist. Think buffalo chicken vs. buffalo cauliflower. This will have the same feel as last year’s “Swavory” program, where we have the samples ready to be picked up, and students can share which they prefer.
Parent field trip drivers and athletic event drivers make it possible for students to experience off-campus learning and competition. If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer/approved driver for 2025-2026, please follow these steps:
Login to your FACTS Family Portal and select Web Forms from the School Menu in the left-hand column.
Choose 2025-2026 Parent Volunteer and Driver Sign-up.
Complete the Web Form and remember to Save (which will submit the form).
Volunteers are required to undergo a criminal background check and driving record review. Once your completed form is received, you will get an email from Praesidium, requesting information and approval for the background check and driver review.
Once you have been approved, you will receive a confirmation email from The Fletcher School, and your name will be placed on the school's Parent Volunteer/Approved Driver listing that is accessible to your child's teacher.
Questions? Contact Ruth Waters, Registrar, at rwaters@thefletcherschool.org.
