Direct Billing Questions for Incidental Charges to New Email Address
Effective immediately, questions related to invoices and billing for incidental charges should be directed to billing@thefletcherschool.org.

Child and Family Development Social Skills Group
Beginning January 22, 2025, Child and Family Development will be offering small group student sessions focused on developing social skills every Thursday.
Each session will run for one hour from 3:15-4:15 p.m. on Fletcher's campus. More information can be found here.
Interested parties should contact Christy Moss, M.Ed. at cmoss@childandfamilydevelopment.com.
The dates would be dependent on students signing up.

What Does Success Look Like for Your Student?
Whether you're a new or returning Fletcher parent, join us to learn about the signature programs and experiences your child can look forward to on their educational journey at Fletcher, designed to provide them with distinct advantages in school, college, and life.
Our faculty, student, and parent experts will speak to the topics you care about, like academics, athletics, student leadership opportunities and clubs, executive functioning skills, counseling, college counseling, and life after college.

The morning and evening sessions will present the same information, except that the morning session attendees will tour classrooms during the school day.

Register here for the 26th Annual Fletcher Forum featuring Josh Clark, Head of Landmark School. The Age of AI Will Be the Age of Dyslexia: The Value of Thinking Differently in Different World.
Josh champions the cause of neuro-diversity in education and promotes the science of reading as a vehicle for education reform and social good. He is chair of the International Dyslexia Association Board of Directors and an expert contributor to the global nonprofit Made By Dyslexia and Microsoft Education. He also co-founded the Association of LD Schools (ALDS) and sits on their board, along with the board of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Josh has presented about the importance of recognizing and supporting students with language-based learning disabilities (LBLD) all over the world.
Fletcher Forum, presented by The Rankin Institute at The Fletcher School, is free to the public. Registration is required.
The Parent's Council Middle School Dance Committee is excited to bring to our Middle School students our Hollywood Dance!
This will be a fun event for your middle schooler to dance, mingle, eat, and have fun with their friends!
We are in need of parent volunteers prior to the event, during, and afterward. We are also in need of various items. Please sign up here, and add your child's grade level under "Comments."

A Parent’s Guide To AI: How to get the most out of generative AI. In this guide to AI, learn about the different generative AI tools like ChatGPT and My AI. Then, explore how to support learning, creativity, and even bedtime using AI tools at home.
Tuesday, January 28: Save the Date! Fletcher Spirit Night at Jason's Deli, Woodlawn Road, from 5-9 p.m. This is a great opportunity for Fletcher families to come together for dinner and conversation.
Wednesday, February 12: There will be a Working Parents Council Meeting at 8:15 a.m. in the Dining Hall. Although there will not be any presentations, parents are welcome to attend.
Dressing for the Weather
Please remember to be sure your student comes to school dressed for the weather. We will continue to have outdoor recess on cold days provided it isn't raining.

Join Trina O’Connor, Lower & Intermediate Schools Division Head, for a convenient virtual session about Fletcher’s updated approach for assessing, evaluating, and reporting student progress in grades K-5.
This session is designed to help you prepare for Parent Conferences and build a home-school partnership that fosters collaboration through understanding along your student's learning journey.
During this gathering, Lower School parents will learn how to:

Understand the academic skills we measure in reading, written expression, and math—and why.
Interpret the Levels of Independence (LOI), which evaluate your student’s Executive Skills in an academic setting.
