NC Opportunity Scholarship and ESA+ Award Updates and Applications
Renewals for the 2025-2026 school year for CURRENT NC Scholarship recipient families must be submitted by Tuesday, April 15, 2025, to renew your scholarship(s).
The Opportunity Scholarship program has sent award notifications to all eligible new student applicants who applied during the priority application period (February 6 – March 6). These families have until Friday, April 18, 2025, to respond to their award offer in MyPortal. New student award offers will be canceled if they are not accepted by this deadline.
Families who submitted new applications for the Education Student Accounts Program (ESA+) for 2025-2026 should expect to receive an award notification by the end of April.
In late April/early May, we will adjust tuition payment schedules in FACTS Financial to reflect Opportunity Scholarship and/or ESA+ awards that have been offered and accepted. We will post an update here when that process is complete.
Families should contact OpportunityScholarships@ncseaa.edu or ESA@ncseaa.edu directly if they have questions about applying or renewing.
The new and improved NCSEAA website for the NC Scholarships has lots of great information on qualification and how to apply and maintain eligibility for the scholarships. Please visit https://k12.ncseaa.edu for step-by-step instructions, recorded webinars, and more helpful information.

Limited Space Available!
Are you still looking for summer activities for your child?
We have limited space available in certain summer programs at The Fletcher School--including academic, cooking, and basketball options.
To view these options and register, please click here!
We invite K-12 parents and guardians to join Tara Terry, Head of School, for engaging discussions about The Anxious Generation—the bestselling book sparking meaningful conversations, especially for families with children who learn differently.
Described as a must-read for all parents, The Anxious Generation is a generation-defining investigation into the collapse of youth mental health in the digital age—and offers a plan for a healthier, freer childhood.
And there's no need to be anxious. Please plan to join us even if you can't make it to both discussions or if you haven't finished reading all the chapters. We look forward to seeing you!
