A Special Thank You from Parents' Council

This year, your Parents’ Council hosted close to 20 events!
From larger events, like the Fall Festival, Lower School and Middle School Dances, Bingo, and Book Fairs, to smaller events, like Sports Spirit Days at the Charlotte Checkers and Knights games, our many volunteers were essential to making it all happen.
Thank you so much for your time, talents and gifts you have given to bring our Fletcher community together. We recognize and appreciate all that you have done!
Parents’ Council is finalizing our planning for our meetings and events for next year, and we would love to connect with more parents.

Please note that Fletcher's 2024-2025 Calendar At A Glance has been updated.
It was updated to reflect an early dismissal day on Wednesday, March 5, for teacher professional development and reformatted to improve readability.

Spring Cleaning? Consider Donating to the Parents' Council Used Spirit Wear Sale!

Please consider donating any gently used Fletcher polos, PE uniforms, and spirit wear (no holes, excessive wear, or stained items, please.)
Drop them off in the bin located in the Belk Lobby at the front of the School.
Be on the lookout for ways to purchase gently used Fletcher gear when we return to school in the fall!

Seeking Buddy Families for New Families & Open House Volunteers

The Admission Office is seeking families interested in being buddy families to new Fletcher Falcon families in 2024-2025.
We would also love to hear from parents who are interested in helping with 2024-2025 Admission Open Houses.
Please indicate your interest in either (or both) of these by completing this form.

K-12 Summer Programs at The Fletcher School

Tuesday, May 28 - Fifth Grade Crossover from 11:30 am-12 pm. Fifth grade parents are invited.
Wednesday, May 29 - End of Year Field Trip to Monster Mini Golf
Thursday, May 30 - Closing Ceremonies
- Grades K-3 - Students arrive at 8:15 am in the carpool line. Please join us in the gym from 8:20-9 am. Students leave with their families immediately following.

Grades 4-5 - Students arrive at 9:15 am in the carpool line. Please join us in the gym from 9:45-10:30 am. Students leave with their families immediately following.

Monday & Tuesday, June 3 & 4 - Optional End of Year Conference
- Conference confirmation days/times will be sent home on Tuesday, May 28.

- - The end of the year is such a busy time with so many tasks to do.

Middle School Important Dates & Exams
Friday, May 24 - Sixth and Seventh Grade End of Year Field Trip
- The location and time have changed.
- The event will now be held at Matthews Sports Complex from 9:30 am-12:30 pm.
- We will provide Chick-fil-A for lunch. Please pack a lunch if your child prefers something else.
Friday, May 24 - Eighth Grade End of the Year Field Trip at Carowinds from 8:30 am-3 pm
Thursday, May 30 - Closing Ceremony
- The Middle School will hold its Closing Ceremony on Thursday, May 30, from 11-12 am in the Gymnasium.
- Parents are invited. Please drop off your student at 10:30 am, and they will head to their homerooms to get ready.
- Students will be dismissed at the end of the ceremony at 12 pm.

Friday, May 31 - Graduation at 1 pm in the Gymnasium
- Doors open at 12:30 pm.

Please return all uniforms or pay a fee: $75 per top, $50 for shorts, and $100 for a shooting shirt. Thank you!

Important Information About Student Devices
- Students in K-4 will leave their iPads at school this summer. Click here for more information.
- Returning students in Grades 5-11 should view this important message.
- Students who are departing Fletcher should view this important message.

The ACT will be administered at The Fletcher School on Monday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 11.
